A 12ml pot of Citadel acrylic layer paint. Non-toxic and water-based, these acrylics are designed to work in several layers over the Citadel base paints without thinning or mixing, to add detail and depth to your models.

The Citadel paint range is designed to enable you to easily (after a bit of practice !) use their system to paint your figures to a high standard. After priming, you apply one or more base colours, then move on to the layer colours, after that the dry colours are drybrushed on, then you apply the shades as a wash to blend and detail your models. A quick way to know which paint you are buying is by looking at the first two digits of the product code; 21 are base colours, 22 are layers, 23 are dry, and 24 are shade. There are also a number of glazes, technical paints etc which can be used to achieve certain special effects.
